What the numbers mean
The camera's lens thread size is marked on the lens barrel.
This number is preceded by a diameter symbol, which is "Ø".
For example Ø52 is 52mm thread size.
The number can also often be found printed on the back side of the lens cap.
The first number is always the lens thread size, and the second number is the filter size of the accessory.
If the first number is bigger, it is a step-down ring, and if the first number is smaller, it is a step-up ring.
